Who we are

We are a charitable Community Benefit Society, formed in 1984, that supports autistic people, people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.
People with learning disabilities, autistic people, and those with mental health needs make meaningful choices every day, and contribute to their communities. Our role is to walk alongside them, remove barriers, create opportunities, and make sure people are listened to and taken seriously.

Our story

Since the late 1980s, we’ve supported people out of institutions and back into communities, based on their choice, not their support needs.

We support people across the UK, from Hampshire and East Sussex to Yorkshire. We believe everyone deserves a good life, no matter their needs:

  • A home of your own – with family, friends, or independently.
  • Living life your way.
  • Control over your choices, including your money.
